Can I call P.E.T.S. only for emergency transfers?
You can call P.E.T.S. and schedule an appointment for non-emergency transfers as well! You can use us for other transports to your vet, or to a specialty center for rehabilitation or other appointment.
How do you handle aggressive animals?
We have experience handling aggressive animals. As long as your pet is up to date with his/her Rabies vaccine we can restrain your pet for a transfer.

We service South Jersey, Philadelphia, Parts of Bucks County and parts of Central Jersey. Please see our Coverage area page for more details. If your city/town is not listed, give us a call and we can let you know if you are in our service area.
What types of animals do you transfer?
We can transport cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and exotics. We ask that you put your exotics in cages for the transfer.
When is your ambulance available?
We are available 24 hours a day/7 days a week for emergency service. We are available during normal business hours 9 am to 7 pm for non-emergency transports. Please call in advance to schedule an appointment.
If I am not sure if it is an emergency, should I call P.E.T.S.?
You should call P.E.T.S. after you have confirmed from your vet or from an emergency veterinary hospital that your pet needs immediate care and you need transportation. If you cannot get a hold of either, you can call us to help assess the situation and determine the best situation to help your pet.
How much does your service cost?
Our fees for an emergency transfer can range from $100 and higher depending on your location and your pets needs. Our tech assisted and vet assisted transport are available for additional costs. You can call us for a quote today if you need assistance.
What type of vehicle do you drive and can I drive with my pet?
We drive a fully equipped ambulance. We will again, at some point, get another fully equipped ambulance, however our main mode of transportation are the Ford transits. We recommend that you do not drive along in our pet ambulance for safety reasons. However in certain cases we may allow you to drive in the ambulance with your pet.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We only accept major credit cards. No Care Credit and no cash or checks. Pre-payment is required at the time you book and no refunds once dispatched.
