Dr. Alex Witt VMD
Dr. Alex Witt is a New Jersey local, attending Rutgers University and graduating with a degree in Animal Science in 2015. Having always wanted to work with animals, as well as help people, Dr. Witt decided on a career in veterinary medicine starting his first-year college. Following graduation from Rutgers University, Dr. Witt attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary medicine. After living in Philly for 4 years, he fell in love with the city, and decided to remain there after graduating with his VMD degree in 2019. In his spare time, Dr. Witt enjoys traveling to new places, trying new food, cooking, outdoor activities such as cycling and hiking, exploring Philadelphia, and attending music concerts. Dr. Witt has a small tuxedo cat, Kiwi, that he considers one of his key study-buddies of veterinary school.
Dr. Witt’s professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, neurology, cardiovascular disease management and imaging, and emergency medicine. Since college, he has always had an interest in teaching, and enjoys mentoring others. Dr. Witt enjoys mentoring and education, from partaking in community events, to spending time with interested veterinary and college students.
