1st & 2nd Grade  : New Students to the Program

Tuesday Nov. 12,  Nov. 19,  Nov. 26,  Dec. 3,  Dec. 10, 2019   All sessions 3pm-4pm.

Week 1: All Creatures Great and Small  All hands on deck!  This round floor discussion will allow the children to investigate, explore, and discover the individual animals of the learning center.  There will be a few animal surprises!

Week 2: Skills Lab-Learn to be a Veterinarian: Join us for this hand on skills lab where we learn of the everyday procedures that veterinarians perform.

Week 3:  Planting for Pets:  Planting a garden has never been so much fun. Not only will we plant to attract Butterflies, bunnies, and other outdoor creatures but, we will plant fruits and vegetables for the students to feed our residents!

Week 4: Ocean Animals: Do shark’s dream of chasing other fish?  Do whales sneeze?  Who is the principal of a school of fish?  These and many other questions will be answered as we look at our animal friends in the deep blue ocean.

Week 5: Photography 101: It’s photo time. Learn the ins and outs of how to photograph pets through the eyes of a photographer. Learning how to properly compose your pictures is the name of the game to make interesting and fun photos!
