Rebecca (Bex) B. Technician
Bex has always had a passion for animals big and small starting with her first dog Annie, a yellow lab, when she was three. From there, she began riding horses and spending weekends at the barn instead of doing practically anything else! After that, she spent a few years as a dog handler at a day care where she found a love for working with difficult dogs in particular, and credits this job for teaching her everything she knows about dog behavior and body language. After having several chronically ill animals and giving them day and night care for most of her teenage years, she decided that veterinary medicine would be a perfect fit for her! She is currently enrolled in school at Penn Foster College and is pursuing her degree in veterinary technology while working at HousePaws. When she is not working or occupied with school, she keeps busy being a full time “dog mom” to her three dogs and her honorary fourth dog, a Russian blue cat named Jake.
