Dr. Emily grew up in Pennsylvania before attending Delaware Valley College, majoring in Zoo Science. She took a few years off from school, working in wildlife rehabilitation and in the veterinary world as a veterinary technician. She first joined the HousePaws Mount Laurel team in 2014 as a veterinary technician and, around that time, rediscovered her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. She went on to earn her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and rejoined the HousePaws team in her current role. When she relocated to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, she couldn't imagine leaving HousePaws behind in Jersey, so she started the MD/DE territory to continue to show pets and their owners the benefits of mobile vet care. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, behavior, and exotic animal medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Emily enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and friends, going on hikes and kayaking with her two beloved rescue pups, Olive and Griff, and spending time with her four rescue chickens.
