Before she even knew the official word for it, Dr. Sam always knew she wanted to be a "doctor for animals" and has always been driven by her love for them. Coming from a small town in Bergen County, NJ, she completed her bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Rutgers University. Through her hard work and determination, she was invited to continue her schooling at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. It was here that she achieved her childhood dream and earned the official title of "veterinarian". She has since returned back to New Jersey and could not be happier to be part of the HousePaws family!

Outside of work Dr. Sam enjoys taking trips to the beach, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She has an unbelievably cute fur baby, Major, a beagle she adopted from the teaching hospital after her first year of vet school. She is excited for this new chapter in her life of providing house calls and to have the opportunity to bring veterinary medicine to the comfort of your home!
