Rosie D. Kennel Staff
Ever since I was a little girl I have had a special love for animals. Growing up, I have always had dogs in my family and 2 of my own since the age of 4. Currently, I have a lab and a lab mix my mom and I rescued. I help train and take care of all of the pets at my house. Having such special bonds with my own pets throughout my life made me want to go into veterinary medicine. I graduated from Cherokee High School in 2017 and currently attend Rutgers University – Camden. I am a biology major with a minor in psychology. I commute to school, so I am able to get more experience with animals and spend as much time with my own as possible. I plan to apply to vet school so I can help as many pets as possible. Outside of studying and working, I intern at Paws Farm, and shadow at as many specialty hospitals as possible to expand my knowledge. I am a part of biology club, pre-vet club, the leadership institute, the leadership institute honor society (omicron delta kappa) and the psychology honor society (psi chi) at Rutgers. I am very grateful to be able to work with such a great staff at HousePaws and I am excited to learn more about the best ways to care for animals
