CET Pet Toothpaste

If your dog or cat will allow it, we brush their teeth with veterinary-grade toothpaste.

Active Ingredients: Sorbitol, Purified Water, Dicalcium Phosphate Anhydrous, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Poultry Digest, Dextrose, Xanthan Gum, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Thiocyanate, Glucose Oxidase (Aspergillus niger), and Lactoperoxidase.

Saline Eye Rinse

We use this to wash away the artificial tears, and make sure no debris is in eyes when done grooming.

Active Ingredients: Purified Water (99.05%). Inactive Ingredients: Boric Acid, Sodium Borate and Sodium Chloride. Hydrochloric Acid and/or Sodium Hydroxide May be Used to Adjust pH. Preservative Added: Edetate Disodium 0.025% and Sorbic Acid 0.1%.

Groom Aide

If you and the groomer decide that your pet’s anal glands need to be expressed, the groomer may use some Groom Aide spray afterward to help freshen things up. This product has a strong baby powder smell.

Active Ingredients: Propane, isopropyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, n-butane, mineral oil, fragrance.

High Concentrate Nature’s Specialties Shampoo

This shampoo has a very strong soap base, and has the strongest fragrance of the three shampoos we use. The company that makes this product jokes that it is “For Dirty Dogs.”

Active Ingredients: Surfactants, aloe vera, conditioners, herbal oils and vitamins.

Aloe and Oatmeal Conditioner Earth Bath

If your pet does well with oatmeal-based products, this is a good soothing conditioner. If you would like this product, you should request it at the time of scheduling.

Active Ingredients: Purified water, vegetable-derived conditioner & detangler, colloidal oatmeal (3%), aloe vera, organic shea butter, cetearyl alcohol, wheat germ oil & amino acids, food grade extracts of vanilla & almond, natural preservative.

Dr. Ben’s Paws & Claws Cedar Oil Spray

After a Dawn Dish Soap soak, we would then spray the pet with Dr. Ben’s to help manage the fleas. This product has a powerful cedar scent. Again, only your vet can establish the best care plan for removing fleas.

Active Ingredients: Cedar Oil and hydrated Silica.

Artificial Tears

This is instilled prior to grooming to protect the eyes from hair clippings.

Active Ingredients: Carboxymethylcellulose, dextran, glycerin, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG 400), polysorbate, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, or propylene glycol, among others.

Ear Cleaner

We use an ear cleaner with evaporating properties to clean your pet’s ears without leaving excess moisture behind.

Active Ingredients: Deionized water, propylene, aloe vera gel, SD alcohol 40, lactic acid, glycerin, dioctyl sodium, sulfosuccinate, salicylic acid, vitamins A, C, E & F, fragrance, benzoic acid, benzyl alcohol.

Dermalyte Shampoo

This shampoo is ideal for pets with sensitive skin, and relatively fragrance-free.
Aloe Premium Shampoo. This is a gentle, soothing shampoo, with a mild fragrance, and best used in winter months. The Dermalyte manufacturer has this to say about their product: “A pleasant, coconut-scented, general purpose shampoo indicated for coat and skin conditions where the following properties would be beneficial to the patient: hypoallergenic, moisturizing and barrier repair.”

Active Ingredients: Natural coconut oil, safflower oil, glycerine, ceramide complex

Aloe Premium Nature’s Specialties Shampoo

A gentle but deep cleansing conditioning shampoo, with a gentle herbal fragrance. This product is great for young pets and for use in winter months.

Active Ingredients: Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil, Panthenol, Lanolin, and Vitamins A, D and E.

Dawn Dish Soap

Nothing removes fleas like a veterinary-approved care plan and a continuous regimen of preventatives. Though we don’t offer flea treatment baths, if our groomers find that your pet has fleas, they will bathe him or her in Dawn dish soap, allowing the lather to sit for 10 minutes before rinsing, to help remove flea dirt.

Active Ingredients: Water, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, lauramine oxide, denatured alchol, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, phenoxyethanol, methylisothiazolinone, fragrance, blue 1.

Quicker Slicker Nature’s Specialties

This is a coat conditioning spray typically used on curly-coated dogs. It has a light, pleasant fragrance, and helps make the coat smooth.

Active Ingredients: A blend of conditioners with high quality of cosmetic silicon, Ph balanced, fragrance.
