Baby Animals: Who can resist animal babies? This class will teach students about babies within the 5 most well-known animal classes of vertebrates including mammals, amphibians, avian, reptiles, and fish.

Microscopes: Microscopes are invaluable tools to a veterinarian. Students will learn about what microscopes are and what they do to assist veterinarians practice medicine. Students will have the opportunity to use actual microscopes during this lesson.

Introduction to Suturing Surgery is an important skill for a veterinarian to master. Learning basic needle skills are essential to veterinary medicine. After practicing their suturing skills, VIT students will get the special opportunity to become surgeons and learn how to close mock surgery skills and wounds on our special teaching teddy bears! **This is a very appropriate lesson; no sharp objects will be used for this skills lab.**
